Natasha--a closeted lesbian and a cyptid aficionado--cohosts a romance monster podcast with Mark, her ex-boyfriend turned beard. Just as their podcast is on the verge of success, Natasha is ready to come out of the closet and stop believing in monsters. But there's one last episode to record. As Natasha, Mark, and their crew travel through Appalachia, they hope to find the mysterious Mothman and record an epic finale. But as the group ventures further into the woods, they are confronted by disappearing crewmembers and unnatural wildlife. Will Natasha find a real life cryptid, or is the only real monster the one lurking inside of her closet?
